Your assembly manual, as a 3D guide your customers open from a QR code on the box.

Fewer “where does this screw go” emails, fewer returns. One step at a time, one fastener at a time, at the speed of the person building.

A live guide. Juniper by Northfold is a cabinet we invented to show you how it works. It plays on its own; touch it and it's yours: turn it, zoom, step back and forth, open the drawing, ask a question.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload

Your PDF manual and the product's outer size. StepKit reads every page, finds every part and fastener, and drafts the 3D guide, checked step by step against the manual.

  2. 2

    Review by note

Play each step beside your manual. If something is wrong, say it in a sentence (“the bolts go in from inside the box”) and the guide is corrected, checked and re-rendered.

  3. 3

    Approve

A named person at your brand plays it end to end and approves it. It is published with their name and the date; every earlier version is kept.

  4. 4

    QR on the box

Print the QR code. Your customers scan it and the guide opens in their phone's browser: no app, no account.

Three rules we keep

Your guide is a draft until you approve it.

StepKit never reviews or approves on your behalf. Nothing goes live without a named person at your brand.

The assistant answers only from your guide.

Customers can ask a question at any step. It answers from your approved guide and says it does not know otherwise.

Every version is signed and can be rolled back.

Each published version carries who approved it and when. Rolling back is one click.
